Saverio Tommasi has sued the italian government to the Florentine solicitors' office by making two complaints containing the "notitia criminis" about its aiding and abetting of the squadrism, the first, and many other crimes (among which we find "violation of the human rights" and "violation of the principle of equality towards law") the second.

The matter in hand has been the new law called "security package", which was passed on 15^th July 2009, no. 94, including "provisions concerning public security", enacted by the Italian government.
Saverio Tommasi has considered the new law as extremely damaging to human rights and to the person's dignity, with the introduction, among many controversial aspects, of the crime of clandestinity.

Saverio Tommasi has worked with the "Centro di ricerca per la pace di Viterbo", which has taken care of his complaints.
